Our Mission

Energrid Smart Technologies’ mission is to contribute to a more sustainable and reliable electricity grid through the development of innovative, smart grid technologies. 

We believe that the digitalisation of electricity grids, smart control solutions and an innovative engineering approach play a key role in the success of green energy. 

In our operations, we strive to create value for our customers, partners, employees and society as a whole.

Our Principles

All managers, employees, agents, consultants, subcontractors and business partners of Energrid are required to conduct their activities:

  • fairly,

  • responsibly,

  • transparently,

  • in accordance with the relevant legislation

.

The principles set out in this Code of Ethics form the basis of all our business relationships.

Compliance with the law

Energrid fully complies in every country with:

  • the relevant legislation,

  • regulatory requirements,

  • technical standards,

  • export and import regulations,

  • competition law regulations.

The company rejects any conduct that:

  • leads to a breach of the law,

  • constitutes tax evasion,

  • involves unlawful tax practices,

  • results in fraud or deception,

  • may constitute a corporate offence.

Prohibition of corruption and bribery

Energrid has a zero-tolerance policy towards all forms of corruption.

The following are prohibited:

  • bribery,

  • offering or accepting an unlawful advantage,

  • direct or indirect corruption,

  • kickbacks,

  • abuse of influence,

  • the payment of unlawful commissions.

Energrid staff must not accept or offer any gift, invitation or other benefit that could be used to influence business decisions.

Prohibition of fraud, money laundering and the financing of terrorism

Energrid does not engage in:

  • fraudulent activities,

  • money laundering,

  • the financing of terrorism,

  • or unlawful financial transactions.

The company also expects its business partners to comply with anti-money laundering and compliance rules.

Sanctions and export control compliance

Energrid complies with the sanctions regulations applicable in Hungary, the European Union and other relevant jurisdictions:

  • sanctions regulations,

  • export control regulations,

  • trade restrictions.

The company does not enter into any business relationships that carry the risk of breaching international sanctions.

Fair competition and business conduct

Energrid is committed to fair competition.

The following are prohibited:

  • cartel agreements,

  • market sharing,

  • cooperation that distorts competition,

  • the unauthorised acquisition or use of confidential information relating to competitors.

We make our business decisions on the basis of professional, technical and economic considerations.

Managing conflicts of interest

Our employees are required to avoid any situation in which there may be, or may appear to be, a conflict of interest between their personal interests and those of Energrid.

Any potential conflict of interest must be reported to management without delay.

Respect for Human Rights

Energrid respects fundamental human rights.

We do not tolerate:

  • child labour,

  • forced labour,

  • any form of modern-day slavery,

  • violations of human dignity.

In our operations, we are guided by the relevant principles of the UN and the OECD.

Equal treatment and prohibition of discrimination

Energrid ensures equal treatment for all its employees and business partners.

We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, in particular:

  • gender,

  • age,

  • ethnic origin,

  • religion,

  • political beliefs,

  • disability,

  • marital status,

  • sexual orientation

.

Human dignity and a respectful working environment

Energrid is committed to a corporate culture based on mutual respect.

The following are prohibited:

  • harassment,

  • intimidation,

  • defamation,

  • verbal or physical abuse,

  • humiliating or offensive behaviour.

Health, safety and environmental protection

Energrid pays particular attention to:

  • protecting the health of its employees,

  • maintaining a safe working environment,

  • reducing environmental impact,

  • sustainable operations.

The company strives to ensure that its operations comply with the principles of the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

Protection of trade secrets and confidential information

All Energrid employees and partners are obliged to safeguard all:

  • business,

  • technical,

  • financial,

  • commercial,

  • strategic

information that comes to their knowledge in the course of their work.

Confidential information may only be used for legitimate business purposes.

The duty of confidentiality shall remain in force even after the termination of the business relationship.

Protection of intellectual property

Energrid respects the intellectual property of others and protects its own:

  • developments,

  • inventions,

  • software,

  • algorithms,

  • technical documentation,

  • trade secrets,

  • and know-how.

The unauthorised use of third parties’ intellectual property is prohibited.

Data Protection and Information Security

Energrid is committed to protecting personal data and business information.

The company acts in accordance with the relevant data protection legislation, in particular the provisions of the GDPR.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the:

  • confidentiality,

  • integrity,

  • availability

Protection of company assets

Energrid’s assets and resources may only be used for lawful, business purposes.

All employees are responsible for safeguarding the assets and information resources entrusted to them.

Suppliers and business partners

Energrid endeavours to ensure that its business partners and suppliers also operate in accordance with the principles of this Code of Ethics.

We expect our partners to:

  • to operate in compliance with the law,

  • freedom from corruption,

  • fair business conduct,

  • respect for human rights,

  • the proper handling of confidential information.

Reports and handling of misconduct

Energrid encourages reports made in good faith.

Any employee or partner is entitled to report:

  • unlawful conduct,

  • ethical breaches,

  • risks of corruption,

  • data protection incidents,

  • suspected fraud.

No detriment shall befall a whistleblower acting in good faith.

Reports are investigated impartially and confidentially.

Scope and Publication

This Code of Ethics applies to all directors, employees, agents, subcontractors and business partners of Energrid Smart Technologies Kft.

This Code of Ethics remains in force until revoked.

The document is publicly available on the company’s website and will be made available to our business partners on request.
